Paving the Way for Rural Economic Prosperity

We design, construct, and maintain climate-resilient road networks and agro-logistics hubs to empower agricultural communities across Nasarawa State.

About RAAMP SU

The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project Scale-Up (RAAMP SU) is a strategic initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria, implemented in partnership with the World Bank and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to improve rural accessibility, strengthen agricultural marketing systems, and promote sustainable economic development across participating states.

The Nasarawa State Project Implementation Unit (NSPIU), operating under the Nasarawa State Ministry of Agriculture, is responsible for coordinating and implementing RAAMP SU activities within Nasarawa State.

At the heart of RAAMP SU is the commitment to improving the quality of life of rural populations by providing safe, reliable, and climate-resilient road infrastructure that connects farming communities to markets.

Beyond infrastructure development, RAAMP SU promotes sustainable asset management practices, strengthens institutional capacity for rural road maintenance, and supports agricultural value chains through improved logistics and market systems.

The Nasarawa State RAAMP SU is committed to delivering impactful, people-centered development by adopting international best practices in project management.

As we continue to expand rural connectivity and strengthen agricultural marketing systems, we remain dedicated to our vision of building resilient rural infrastructure, empowering communities, and fostering inclusive prosperity for present and future generations.
